The Iraq/US Art Goodwill Initiative: Bridge of Hope, was an initiative originated by the International Cultural Arts Network (ICAN) in March, 2006, with the goal of creating a dialogue through the arts between Iraq and the US to generate a positive exchange cultural resulting in greater understanding between our countries. 

 

In this cultural exchange the artists from both countries will have a dialogue about the arts in both countries.  Seven Iraqi artists and seven U.S. artists will be exhibiting. Additional information is available at the ICAN Bridge of Hope website. 

 

The official ICAN Opening Reception was held at the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington, DE on April 4, 2008.
